Virgin America Considers Salt Lake City as Destination
California-based startup low-fare airline Virgin America said Wednesday it has added four cities to its portfolio, pending certification by the U.S. Department of Transportation, and expects to add 10 cities within a year of operation and 30 cities within five years.
Among cities under consideration is Salt Lake City.
The airline is inviting people to visit its Web site to rank where Virgin America should fly next. It plans to begin operations sometime in 2007.
