An empty Northwest Airlines DC-9 was damaged Monday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport after a tractor, called a tug, that was moving the plane from a gate area ended up under the plane's nose, said airport spokesman Pat Hogan.
Northwest officials are investigating what caused the noontime incident and the extent of the damage, which included some holes in the plane's fuselage, Hogan said. The driver of the tug suffered minor injuries.
