Air France Adds 1 000 Seats Every Week to its Toronto-Paris Route
Air France has announced that it is adding a considerable number of seats on its Toronto-Paris flights effective April 30. The airline will be operating a 436-seat Boeing 747-400 on this route, which means a 50% increase in passenger seating capacity.
The Boeing 747s assigned to the Toronto-Paris route will be offering bi-class service, i.e. business and economy. The cabin interior will feature the airline's New Travel Concept, which includes seats that convert into lie-flat beds for travelers flying in Air France's l'Espace Affaires business class and a rigid hull that guarantees the integrity of personal space. With its new l'Espace Affaires, Air France has elevated business flying closer to that of first class. The Tempo economy class cabin interior has been revamped with a new aircraft passenger seat model and new inflight services where champagne continues to be served free of charge.
"This increase in passenger seating capacity fits in well with Air France's profitable growth strategy. It clearly reflects our commitment to and our confidence in a dynamic market like Toronto, where we've been in operation for 30 years," declared Christian Lahccen, General Manager and Vice-President of Air France Canada.

For the next four weeks, Air France will be advertising the length of the St. Andrew's station to increase top-of-mind awareness among Toronto business travelers and to promote the airline's message Making the sky the best place on earth. This statement is about putting the passenger at the centre of everything with exceptional service and attention to their needs making for an efficient and enjoyable trip whether one wishes to relax or work.
Air France has been flying out of Toronto to Paris for 30 years. Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport is Europe's busiest hub from which passengers can quickly access connecting flights to any of the airline's 185 destinations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia as some 70% of Air France's Toronto outbound travelers fly to destinations beyond Paris.
