Metal sections of the roof of a new international terminal were torn off. The terminal opened less than three weeks ago.

Metal sections of the roof of a new international terminal at the airport in Tbilisi, Georgia were torn off by wind speeds of more than 120 kilometres per hour.

The terminal opened less than three weeks ago. The storm also left large parts of Tbilisi without electricity for hours.

The storm started on 24 February and carried on into yesterday (25 February), The Associated Press reported.
