US carriers Continental Airlines and United Airlines are looking to commence services to the UAE according to Marion Blakey of the Federal Aviation Administration and cited by Gulf News. The airlines are keen to copy rival flyer Delta Airlines, which will begin flights from Atlanta to Dubai in May. Blakey also said the carriers could forge a code-sharing tie-up with Etihad Airways, linking Abu Dhabi with various US cities.
