American Airlines moves international service into Concourse B of new terminal at JFK

Yesterday (15 May) American Airlines moved its international service at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport into Concourse B of its new USD1.3bn terminal.
The airline said the terminal is located near the recently opened new United States Customs and Immigrations facility.
Additionally American said that, with the opening of Concourse B, the airline increases its number of gates in the new facility from 18 to 28, with 15 able to handle arriving international flights. Scheduled for completion in early 2008, American said that when the work is finished it will have 36 gates, with 19 capable of handling international arrivals.
