Boeing Confirms Royal Jordanian Order

Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) has revealed an order from Royal Jordanian for the new 787 Dreamliner.

The announcement confirms two unidentified customer purchases previously listed on the manufacturer's Orders & Deliveries website.

Boeing said that Royal Jordanian is the first Middle East airline to announce an order for the 787. Royal Jordanian also plans to confirm the purchase of its two outstanding options before the end of this year, and intends to take an additional eight Boeing 787s on lease.

No financial details have been disclosed.
