LAN to Launch Non-Stop Flights from JFK and Los Angeles to Santiago, Chile

New services will also offer connecting flights on to Buenos Aires and other Argentinean destinations

Chilean airline LAN Airlines announced that from 2 June 2007 it will commence non-stop services from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport to Santiago de Chile.

The new services will also offer connecting flights on to Buenos Aires and other Argentinean destinations including Cordoba, Mendoza and Rosario.

The airline will operate three new flights each week between JFK and Santiago, on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and five new flights each week between Los Angeles and Santiago, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Also announced was three additional non-stop flights from Miami to Santiago starting on 7 June 2007, making a total of ten weekly flights offered by LAN on this route.
