Alaska Airlines announced that from 28 October 2007 it will be offering additional non-stop flights between Seattle and Cancun, Mexico.
The new services will run daily, instead of the four times a week at present.
The Seattle-Cancun service is operated during Mexico's peak tourism season, from late October to late April.
The airline, which began flights to Mexico in 1988, now has over 1.2 million passengers yearly on its flights between the US West Coast and Mexico. This winter the airline will operate up to 44 flights daily serving 10 Mexican destinations, including Cancun, Guadalajara, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, La Paz, Loreto, Los Cabos, Manzanillo, Mazatlan, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta.
