Highwoods to build for FAA in Atlanta
ATLANTA -- Highwoods Properties will build a $10.2 million, 50,000-square-foot office building for the Federal Aviation Administration on land the Raleigh real estate investment trust owns at Tradeport, a business park adjacent to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Construction is to finish by July 2008.
During the past five years, Highwoods has been awarded $120 million in development contracts by federal agencies including the FBI, Centers for Disease Control, the National Archives and Records Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
