Qantas launches seasonal service to San Francisco and Vancouver

Today (13 June) Australia's Qantas Airways launches its peak period seasonal direct flights between San Francisco and Vancouver, Canada.

The airline said the seasonal service operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between 13 June and 12 August 2007, and also during the holiday period from 16 December 2007 to 27 January 2007.

The service is operated with Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Vancouver passengers travelling to Australia can also take advantage of same aircraft service onward to Sydney, Australia via San Francisco.
