Air Independence orders three Challenger 605 aircraft

Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace has received a firm order from German charter carrier Air Independence for three widebody Challenger 605 business jets.

The company said the transaction is valued at approximately USD82m, based on the list price for typically equipped aircraft.

The new aircraft will be based in Munich, Germany and are scheduled for delivery between October 2009 and the end of February 2010.
