Boeing receives aircraft order from GECAS

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received an order from GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) for six Boeing 777 Freighters worth approximately USD1.42bn at list prices.

Boeing said the order increases the number of 777s GECAS has ordered directly from the company to 39, which includes 14 Boeing 777 Freighters. To date GECAS has taken delivery of 15 Boeing 777s. Additionally, the agreement allows GECAS the right to substitute other 777 passenger models, if necessary, in the future.
