Lehigh Valley airport goes to Lehigh Valley Mall

June 22, 2007

Looking for flight information? Stop by the Lehigh Valley Mall.

That's where Lehigh Valley International Airport plans to open a store in September. The airport said Wednesday it's in negotiations to rent a 130-square-foot storefront that will be near the Ruby Tuesday restaurant.

Airport officials hope the store will let them introduce LVIA to potential customers.

The airport will stock information about flights and other services at LVIA. The airlines that serve LVIA also will be allowed to put promotional materials and information at the store.

It's possible that mall visitors will be able to make flight reservations. Airport officials are reviewing what services they will offer at the store.

The airport will rent the space for $3,250 a month.
