Zoom Airlines launches London-New York service

Zoom Airlines Ltd, the UK sister company to the Canadian low-cost airline, has launched daily flights from New York's JFK Airport to London's Gatwick for USD199 each way, excluding taxes.

The carrier also said that, as a special promotion, flights departing from JFK between 22 June and 13 July 2007, will be offered for USD99 one-way, with taxes included.

Zoom said its booking service features flexible one-way fares with no restrictions, such as the need to stay a Saturday night in either city.
