Low cost carrier Frontier Airlines has announced that, beginning on Wednesday 15 August, the carrier commenced a non-stop service between its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub and Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR).
The carrier said that it will be the only low-cost airline serving Baton Rouge, providing the first new airline service to Louisiana's capital city in 21 years.
Flights from Denver depart daily to Baton Rouge at 10:30 and 19:30 and return to Denver from Baton Rouge at 06:00 and 14:28.
