ICx Technologies has been awarded a new contract with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for the delivery of 200 Fido PaxPoint hand-held detection systems.
The company said PaxPoint is used in airport environments and is capable of screening bottled liquids and detecting certain classes of potentially dangerous liquids and emanating vapours through sealed bottles and other containers. No financial details have been disclosed.
