AVEX 2008 will host the MENA Business Aviation Congress and the World Aviation Awards (WAA) ceremony.

DUBAI -- AVEX Air show & Aviation Expo, which will be held Nov. 5-8, 2008, at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in Egypt, gathers the small and midsized aviation industry's leaders to meet with potential and existing customers and conduct business in an exclusive environment.

For the first time ever, AVEX 2008 will be hosting the MENA Business Aviation Congress and the prestigious World Aviation Awards (WAA) ceremony. The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Ahmed Shafik, will open the Congress by briefing the audience on the state of the business aviation industry in the Middle East. Renowned names of the aviation industry, such as Arab Air Carriers Organization, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, RAK, Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, will lead the congress.
