Lightning Strikes 2 Planes At Philly Airport

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --

Two commercial airliners were hit by lightning Wednesday night as they approached Philadelphia International Airport.

The U.S. Airways and Airtran flights both landed safely, officials said.

No one was hurt.

Rain, wind and hail were pounding Philadelphia at the time.
