VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. --
Students at a Daytona Beach university will soon be able to get a PHD in aviation or engineering physics.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University received national accreditation for the two degree programs. Classes for the degrees are scheduled to begin in 2010.
University officials believe the aviation PHD program will be the first of its kind in the world.
