XN AIR BECOMES NORTH POLE TO HOST UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN & SANTA

SPOKANE, Wash., Dec. 16, 2009 – Sixty underprivileged children flew to the North Pole this week for an evening of enchantment put on in part by XN Air (KGEG) at Spokane International Airport.

The Phillips 66® Aviation dealer transformed its hangar into the North Pole for some wide-eyed kids who flew in on a special Alaska Airlines flight – all organized by Northwest North Pole Adventures, a group of volunteers, donors and sponsors who each year provide magical trips to the North Pole for children from Spokane and Coeur d’Alene-area shelters.

XN Air provided aircraft and ramp support for the flight, plus logistics and hangar support for the North Pole. 

Santa and his volunteer elves were on hand to visit the children – most of whom were making their first flight in an airplane, let alone their first journey to the North Pole. 

“It’s an enchanting evening, full of surprises for some kids who really deserve a little holiday cheer,” says Alan Hale, President of XN Air.  “The idea is to share the magic of believing, while giving children something to smile wide about.  Everyone at XN Air really enjoys being able to help Spokane Fantasy Flight host this wonderful event.”
