New Low-Cost Carrier Coming To PBIA

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. --

A new low-fare airline is coming to Palm Beach International Airport.

DirectAir, based out of Myrtle Beach, S.C., announced Thursday it will be providing non-stop service from PBIA to four other cities beginning in November.

Flights to and from Worcester, Mass., and Niagara Falls/Buffalo, N.Y. will operate Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays; flights to and from Chicago/Rockford, Ill., will operate Mondays and Fridays; and flights to and from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, Mich., will operate Thursdays and Sundays.

To commemorate the new service, DirectAir is offering an introductory rate of $79 for 79 hours. The sale ends Monday at midnight.
