Oct. 14--WICHITA -- The Kansas Aviation Museum will dedicate a new exhibit today that outlines the history of black aviators in Kansas and Wichita.
The exhibit will include information about the contributions of black aviators to Kansas aviation history. A section on the Tuskegee Airman will be included.
The exhibit will be home to the Kansas Black Aviators Hall of Fame.
The dedication will be held at the museum at 3350 South George Washington Blvd. at 5:30 p.m.
An open house is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and there is no admission charge.
