ATS Announces Contract Awards

Oct. 29, 2010
The contracts include Calgary, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Edmonton and West Palm Beach.

Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce the following contract awards and major contract renewal:

Calgary - Cargojet

Cargojet awarded ATS a multi year contract to provide ramp handling of their B767F and B727F freighters. Cargojet operates its network across North America, transporting approximately 750,000 pounds of time sensitive air cargo each business night, utilizing a fleet of thirteen all cargo aircraft. The successful transition to ATS occurred on September 7th.

Calgary – United Airlines

United Airlines renewed Calgary with ATS and we have entered into a multi year contract renewal. This important event, combined with the acquisition of Wing Tips passenger services and freighter handling of Cargojet, makes ATS station a market leader among ground handlers in Calgary.

Dallas/Ft. Worth – Lufthansa

This month ATS commenced passenger services on behalf of Lufthansa German Airlines in Terminal D of Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport. Lufthansa operates daily wide-body service to Frankfurt from DFW. This represents our third current Lufthansa location for passenger services, following Vancouver and Calgary.

Edmonton – United Airlines

On October 31 United will transition their full passenger service and ground handling to ATS at Edmonton International Airport. United Express operates more than 200 flights per month in YEG.

West Palm Beach – Air Canada

Air Canada has entrusted our PBI team with their full passenger service and ground handling contract, beginning October 31st. This is our third Air Canada win in 2010.
