We would like to inform you that Andreas Keller, VP product & development aviation security at Swissport's headquarters, is to assume responsibility for all aviation security activities (including business development) for the entire region EMEAA with immediate effect due to some new organisational priorities. Andreas Keller will add this special role on top of his current responsibilities. In connection with this restructuring process the function "General Manager AVSEC Africa & Asia" will be changed now to VP Aviation Security EMEAA & Business Development, directly reporting to the respective EVPs, Juan José Andres Alvez and Philipp Joeinig.
Bernhard Schäfli, who was in charge for the network expansion and development of the aviation security activities in Africa during several years will look for a new professional challenge outside of the Swissport group. We would like to thank him for all his efforts and contributions by wishing him all the best for his next career steps.
This new organization setup will not only ensure a seamless handover of Bernhard Schäfli's duties without any further delay, but also confirms the full management attention to this important business line within the entire Swissport group in general as well as for the EMEAA region in particular. We have not doubt that Andreas Keller (with all his excellent competences and skills in aviation security and together with his team) has a sound organizational foundation for its planned further growth.
