The partners plan to work together to leverage and commercialise advertising space at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget airports. In addition they are planning to operate a televisual medium focusing on passenger/airport relations at the three Paris airports.
Under the agreement a new joint entity will be established, owned equally by Aeroports de Paris and JCDecaux. It will launch its activities on 1 July 2011 and will operate for a period of nine and a half years.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Aeroports de Paris and JCDecaux have already worked together for almost ten years. Through the new partnership the airport operator is hoping to give a new look to the Paris airports and to have fewer but more modern advertising media.
