Jan. 6, 2011

New routes to Maine, Missouri and the British West Indies take the airline's service network to 39 cities.

On 22 December Cape Air started flying between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Anguilla in the British West Indies, complementing its existing Caribbean service for San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Tortola, Vieques, Mayaguez and Ponce.

Flights between Augusta, Maine and Boston were launched by Cape Air on 1 December and a service between Fort Leonard Wood and St. Louis, both in Missouri, began on 14 December. These two services add to Cape Air's markets served under the US Department of Transportation's Essential Air Service programme.
