China waives airport construction fees in developing regions

* The news will give a certain boost to airline and airport stocks.

* The General Civil Aviation Administration of China announced last Friday that as of January 1, 2011, the airport construction fees will be exempted on feeder line flights particularly in economically less developed areas, which are mainly in the country's central and western parts, and ethnic minority, border and poverty-stricken regions.
