March load factor for United and Continental down 3.5 points

United and Continental's combined consolidated traffic decreased by 2.2% year-on-year, while consolidated capacity increased by 2.1%.

The combined consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for March 2011 increased by an estimated 8.0% to 9.0% compared to March 2010. Combined mainline PRASM in March 2011 also increased by an estimated 8.0% to 9.0%.
