ACI-WORLD INAUGURATES MONTREAL HEADQUARTERS

Organization relocates from Geneva to better coordinate with ICAO

"We are delighted that ACI is joining some 70 international organizations already present in the Montreal region and further enhances our city's international status," says Jacques St-Laurent, President and Chief Executive Officer of Montreal International. "The relocation of such an organization from Geneva to Montreal confirms the attractiveness of Quebec's metropolis for international organizations and further enhances our region's status as the world capital of civil aviation."

"The inauguration of our new headquarters in Montreal is an important milestone in our organization's development," says Angela Gittens, ACI World Director General. "We are confident that this move will enhance our ability to represent the interests of airport authorities to ICAO, its member states and its permanent delegations. We will also be better able to coordinate our actions with ICAO's initiatives in the areas of safety, security, the environment, training and operational efficiency."

The assistance Montreal International provided for the relocation of ACI to the Montreal metropolitan region has been made possible by the concerted efforts and financial contributions of its partners: Canada Economic Development, the ministere des Relations internationales du Quebec [Quebec Department of International Relations] and the City of Montreal.

ACI World Headquarters are located at 800 rue du Square Victoria, Suite 1810, Montreal.
