Mexican airport operator OMA reports increase in June traffic
Total terminal traffic increased by 0.7% in June 2011 compared to June 2010.
Domestic traffic grew by 1.6% while international traffic fell by 5.1%.
Of the total June traffic, 96.5% was commercial aviation and 3.5% was general aviation.
OMA operates 13 international airports in nine states of central and northern Mexico, serving Monterrey and the tourist destinations of Acapulco, Mazatlan, and Zihuatanejo, as well as nine other regional centres and border cities.
