JetBlue Expands International Service with Daily Nonstop Service to Nassau, Bahamas

JetBlue Airways, in partnership with the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board (NPIPB), announced plans to further expand its successful Caribbean network with the addition of Westchester County Airport's (HPN) only international flight, offering daily nonstop service to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS).

According to a release, service takes off November 15, subject to government approval.

"JetBlue is excited to provide our Westchester and Fairfield County customers a simpler and more convenient way to access the Caribbean from their easy-in, easy-out local airport," said Dave Barger, CEO of JetBlue Airways. "We're equally as proud to offer the only regularly scheduled non-stop service from Westchester to the Caribbean, and to work with such great partners at the Nassau Paradise Island Board. Plus, our first flight will be offered just in time for customers to travel to the Bahamas to see the national champion UConn Huskies Men's Basketball team in action as they compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament!"

JetBlue is New York's Hometown Airline with other focus cities in Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, and Orlando.
