Miami Airport Increases Passenger Numbers

Travel Business Review - 15 August 2011 Passenger numbers at Miami International Airport surged to a 6.8 percent increase in the first half of 2011, according to figures from the Miami Dade Aviation Department. 18.8 million passengers passed through the airport in the six months to June 2011, 1.2 million more than in the same period last year. International passenger numbers increased by 8.4 percent to 8.8 million, and domestic travellers increased by 5.4 percent, to 10 million.
