According to the Ministry of Transportation of the Perm Krai, consultants of Lufthansa Consulting GmbH and Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide will present the next parts of the master plan of the Perm airport (Bolshoye Savino) on August 18.

The meeting will discuss the section "Defining the future working characteristics of the airport facilities in the short-term (2015) and long-term (2030) prospects". This section is important for the assessment of passenger traffic flow.

In July Lufthansa Consulting GmbH, Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide and "NACO Netherlands Airport Consultants BV" presented to the Regional Ministry of Transportation two sections of the master plan of the Perm airport (Bolshoye Savino), which included an assessment of air traffic, the technical condition of airport facilities and equipment.

The master plan development objective is to create a modern air transport unit on the basis of the Bolshoye Savino airport. It is planned to build a new terminal to increase airport capacity from 750 thousand to 1.5 mln passengers a year. / perm.ru
