AirTran Airways Launches Sale

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of Southwest Airlines, Co., launched a sale on Aug. 16 for travel to select destinations.

In a release, the Company noted details of the sale:

Travelers may purchase these sale fares at airtran.com, from their local travel agent or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-air-tran.

These special fares are available for purchase through Aug. 25, and are good for travel Aug. 26 through Dec. 15, for most of the system. Lowest sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with additional sale fares available Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or an overnight stay. These sale fares require a 10-day advance purchase.
