Travel Business Review - 31 August 2011 Boeing (NYSE:BA), a US-based company that manufactures commercial aircraft, has announced the launch of its 737 MAX new engine variant of the 737 airplane.

The company is offering its new family of Next-Generation 737 aircraft variants, 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9, for commercial use. The new engines are more fuel-efficient and offer around 7 percent lowering of operating costs for airlines. Nicole Piasecki, the company vice president of business development and strategic integration, for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said, 'The 737 MAX offers airlines the right solution and the best choice for creating the most successful future with improved profitability.
