Inc. Names Desert Jet to 500 List

Inc. magazine ranked Desert Jet, an aircraft management and charter company based in Southern California, number 296 on its 30th annual Inc. 500, a ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

The list represents a look at a segment of the economy -- America's independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Zipcar, Clif Bar, Vizio, Oracle, and many other names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500, the Company noted.

Desert Jet was founded by pilot and entrepreneur Denise Wilson to help individuals and corporations use business jets to fulfill their corporate and personal travel needs. Desert Jet experienced explosive growth over the last several years as fractional share owners, jet card holders and aircraft owners turned to the company to provide them with more cost effective private jet travel and ownership options.

Unlike charter brokers, Desert Jet actually operates its own fleet of jet aircraft, ensuring quality for their clients in such crucial areas as the experience level of the flight crew, safety and anticipatory service. Desert Jet noted it is a jet charter company on the 2011 Inc. 500 list that is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as an air carrier and regulated by the Department of Transportation.
