Delta teams up with Virgin Australia for new code share in November

The expanded code sharing agreement between the two carriers will operate on services between the US and Australia.

Code share services will be available for purchase from 19 September 2011 for travel from 6 November 2011 with Delta and Virgin Australia's long-haul international carrier V Australia.

Under the terms of the agreement Delta will add its code to all of V Australia's flights between Los Angeles and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, while V Australia will add its code to Delta's services between Los Angeles and Sydney.
