Allegiant Air to fly between NYC and Tampa
Allegiant Air is all set to offer new services from Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG) in New York and St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport (PIE) in Tampa Bay area.
According to Allegiant Air, this new service will be effective from December 15. For this new route, Allegiant Air will offer two weekly services on Thursdays and Sunday with 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-80s. The first service will leave IAG at 6.00PM and reach PIE at 8.35PM. The return service will depart PIE at 2.30PM and reach IAG at 5.20PM. Noah Lagos, Airport Director of PIE, said, We are very excited about the addition of non-stop service to the Niagara Falls International Airport. The Niagara Falls and Buffalo airports are gateways for many Canadians to fly to the U.S. and for Americans to visit the scenic Niagara Falls region. With this addition, Allegiant will now offer non-stop low-fare service to 23 destinations to/from our airport. The introductory fares for one-way route are starting from $79.99, with taxes and fees extra. Allegiant Air will charge fees of $14.99 (for one take-off and one landing) for call center booking.
