United Airlines to launch winter services from San Diego and Orange County

United Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE:UAL), on Tuesday announced a new non-stop service from San Diego and Orange County to Mammoth Yosemite Airport. New services will depart daily throughout the winter from San Diego and four times a week from Orange County Friday through Monday. In addition United also said it is expanding its service from San Francisco International Airport to Mammoth Lakes with a second daily flight from Friday through Monday. SkyWest Airlines, a United Express regional partner, will operate the flights with a CRJ700 regional jet with seating for 66 passengers in a two class configuration.
