DFW International Airport begins construction on Terminal E expansion project

The expansion project is anticipated to create more room for ticketing, baggage claim, security and passenger services in Terminal E.

Part of the DFW Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP), the expansion project will expand the terminal building between gates E17 and E31.

The initial phase of the Terminal E expansion project also includes the reactivation of the 'satellite' terminal which houses seven aircraft gates.

TRIP is a seven year, USD1.9bn renovation plan to renew all four of the airport's original terminals and includes the replacement of infrastructure systems, concessions updates and redesigned terminal space.
