American Airlines reports traffic and capacity up 1.8% for December

As a result the December load factor was unchanged at 80.6%.

Domestic traffic increased by 0.5% compared with December 2009, on 0.4% more capacity, while international traffic increased by 3.9% on a capacity increase of 4.0%.

American Airlines boarded 7,135,049 passengers last month, an increase of 0.8% from 7,076,938 in the same month of 2009.
