The workshop remains the only opportunity for those new to airport law, or new to specific legal issues, to gain an authoritative review of the fundamental legal principles that underlie virtually all aspects of airport operations and development. Other conferences either touch on legal issues or focus on hot topics in the law. Only this workshop combines a thorough review of the basics of airport law with an update on recent developments. This review is supplied by government attorneys from DOT, FAA and TSA, and other seasoned practitioners with years of experience and in-depth understanding of the federal rules applicable to public-use airports.

The workshop is taught in plain English and is not limited to lawyers. If you are involved in any aspect of meeting DOT/FAA or DHS/TSA requirements concerning, for example, capital projects, contracts and leases, grant assurance compliance, or airport security, this workshop would benefit you. Lawyers, airport managers, airport tenants and others involved in the regulatory aspects of the industry will find the presentations beneficial.

As in the past, the workshop will include an introductory session, "fundamentals" sessions, and "basics" sessions to ensure that newcomers and veterans alike are steeped in the underlying principles that govern this area of law. The workshop also will include several "advanced" sessions and a legal update to provide information on latest cases and other legal developments.

The workshop is a terrific value. It provides a comprehensive overview of airport legal issues in a relatively short amount of time, attendees can interact directly with government officials and lawyers, attendees can earn Continuing Legal Education credits, and all attendees receive the Airport Law Desk Reference, a user-friendly resource guide that is updated each year for this conference to address new developments in airport law.

The workshop is one of a kind. Don't miss your chance to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable insight and information that you can put to use immediately.
