GE Commercial Aviation Services announced on Tuesday (26 June) that its subsidiary Lynxs has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in the Swedish airport facility development, financing and leasing company Nordic Airport Properties AB.

Lynxs is paying approximately USD115m for the shares.

Nordic Airport Properties, headquartered in Stockholm, owns and develops properties at the international airports in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo. The company is a joint venture between the US-based airport facilities developer Airis Holding LCC and the Swedish airports operator LFV Group, the latter of which will retain its 50% stake in Nordic Airport Properties.

GE Commercial Aviation Services is part of General Electrics' business area GE Infrastructure. The company owns a fleet of over 1,450 aircraft leased to over 230 airlines in 70 countries.

One British pound (£) is worth approximately 1.99 US dollars (USD).
