Getting to Know You
I am pleased to tell you that the first edition of our quarterly Military e-issue went out in June with positive results and encouraging feedback. Like the Spring edition, this Summer edition will be available on the homepage of our website (www.groundsupportmagazine.com) to view at your leisure. Each page contains links that will take you directly to the supplier or company advertised.
It's also important to note that we do have a PDF version of the e-issue available if you are unable to open/download the flipviewer. Please contact me at [email protected] or my assistant editor, Emily Refermat at [email protected] for that version.
And now that you have those e-mail addresses fresh in your mind, if you could take just a few moments out of your busy schedules to help us get to know you by responding to any of the following:
- What articles, columns, reports would you like to see in our Military e-issue in the future?
- Do you have ideas, articles, stories to share with us?
- Do you have contact suggestions for obtaining this information?
- What can we do to continue to improve this publication?
The only way we can better serve you is through your suggestions and feedback.
In closing, our country and its families ... our families, are facing difficult times. I would like to leave you with a few words of hope from the letter of a daughter sent from Mosul, Iraq in mid April of 2003:
"Dear Mom, I have angry moments, frustration, all those things I had before, but I also have found something else. I cannot describe the joy I have in living. Even the bad moments, I find something of beauty around me. I hold to this with all my power.
I may not be able to change the situations I face, or the world here, but I can hold true to the things which make me myself. I will change. I will come home different. But I will not let go of this joy in life. I will not let go of the ability to find beauty in squalor."
Thank you for reading,
Karen Reinhardt
