MULAG repositions its sales activities - as part of a further internationalization of the sales activities the shareholders and the supervisory board of MULAG have decided to strengthen the expertise in the sales area.
Andreas Vorig, in his new role as Managing Director Sales, will gradually assume responsibility for the sales divisions airport and roadside maintenance, as well as marketing and after-sales service, starting on September 1, 2020.
Werner Wössner, owner and managing director of MULAG, emphasizes: "Especially under economically difficult conditions the sales strategy and further development of a company is of great importance. We are pleased to have won with Andreas Vorig a proven industry expert. Mr. Vorig is distinguished by his extensive experience, especially in the international sales of municipal vehicles, as well as by his many years as managing director in the municipal and industrial sector and in the airport business."
"MULAG, being a medium-sized company, is facing great challenges in the future. This includes in particular the development of new markets, the expansion of the product range as well as digitalization," says Holger Wössner, who as Managing Director will continue to be responsible for the areas of finance, product management, IT and strategic corporate development. MULAG has already acquired a plot of land of more than 70,000 sqm for the planned company expansion. Uwe Meißner, Technical Managing Director, adds: "We have numerous new products and development projects which we will secure by expanding our sales activities."
Founded in 1953 and managed by the third generation of the family in Oppenau in the German Black Forest, the company has over 330 employees and achieved sales of around EUR 80 million in 2019 in its airport and roadside maintenance business divisions. "Tradition and family values are very important to us. Mr. Vorig ideally complements our management both professionally and personally," says the Wössner family with great enthusiasm.
