Charlatte America is the industry leader in electric Ground Support Equipment. Our European location opened in 1984 and expanded to Bluefield, VA in 1993 to support its business in The Americas. While Charlatte has sold more than 20,000 electric tractors, tuggers and belt loaders, the company is quickly becoming a player in the internal combustion arena. Gasoline and diesel engine packages are available and hundreds have been deployed in the last couple of years. Charlatte has had the financial backing of its parent since 1999, The Fayat Group, which enjoys annual revenues of $ 4.5B. Charlatte is also fortunate to be a subsidiary alongside such as Bomag, Dynapac and Terex to name just a few.
The company also specializes in the refurbishment of older GSE (whether it be a Charlatte make & model or not). The facility in VA is 75,000 square feet and continues to expand due to this market segment.
