Hydrant pit valve adapter wear gauge

Gammon Tech's API/EI/IP-1584 4-foot hydrant pit valve adapter wear gauge ensures that your hydrant pit valves do not have excessive wear. The unique (patented) design combines three areas of wear into one single measure, making it easy to use. Includes a calibration standard block. It can also be used to evaluate wear on 4-foot bottom loading adapters used on tractor trailer tanks. Hydrant pits on airports are used to deliever fuel to the aircraft without the need for a tank on the refueler vehicle. The fuel is pumped underground, greatly improving logistics. One issue, however is wear on the pit valve itself. The Gammon Pit Valve Gauge answers this concern.
