TBD Welcomes New International Sales Manager

Jonathan Attfield joins the team this month, where his technical expertise within the aviation MRO environment will further strengthen TBD’s sales and marketing team and provide worldwide commercial and military sector experience.

Bridgend, Wales, 17th July 2017: TBD, renowned for ground support equipment and specialist access solutions for the global aviation industry, has expanded its team with the addition of a new International Sales Manager, Jonathan Attfield.

Attfield joins the team this month, where his technical expertise within the aviation MRO environment will further strengthen TBD’s sales and marketing team and provide worldwide commercial and military sector experience.

Gareth McAuliffe, Business Development Manager – TBD, is spearheading the Company’s highly focused growth strategy and comments: “Jonathan joins TBD at a pivotal point. His established relationships with airlines and MROs will enable TBD to fast-track these solutions to the benefit of operators and airport authorities who seek robustly engineered equipment that can be relied upon in hazardous, harsh and hectic situations.”

Attfield began his sales career at Latchways PLC, where he spent nine years as Product Sales Manager, responsible for global sales of the WinGrip aircraft fall protection system; managing accounts with aircraft manufacturers, airlines, MROs and military organisations; securing private and public contracts; and managing maintenance contracts. He went on to join Granada Material Handling as its UK and European Aerospace Sales Manager, where he was responsible for developing new business with aerospace manufacturers and securing contracts to supply cranes and specialist lifting equipment.
