Sage, dnata Singapore Collaborate On GSE Parts Facility At Changi Airport

MELVILLE, NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 4, 2014 - On 1 July 2014, dnata Singapore welcomed a new occupant at its GSE maintenance base at Changi Airport. The new service equipment replacement parts facility, which will be run by Sage Parts, will dispense ground service equipment (GSE) replacement parts, manage inventories, and provide an extensive array of GSE support services. dnata Singapore will continue to provide maintenance services for its fleet of more than 1,000 GSE equipment.

The presence of Sage Parts within the dnata maintenance base means that the supply chain is closer to where all the maintenance action happens. Having the right replacement parts on hand is important in keeping to the cycle of preventive maintenance for each GSE, especially when the equipment is heavily utilized by dnata Singapore to serve more than 30,000 flights annually at Changi Airport.
